How to enable console in CS GO
The first thing you need to do to access console commands is enable your console in the in game settings of CSGO. To do this, go to your home page and on the top right of the screen, click on the button saying Options. On the drop-down menu that will appear, choose the button for Game Settings. This will take you to another screen.
Once you are successfully on the Game Settings page, you need to look in the first category of settings, where you’ll see the phrase Enable Developer Console. Set this setting to Yes to enable being able to toggle your CSGO console on and off with the press of a key.
How to open console in CS GO when in game
Once you’ve enabled the developer console and have access, it’s time to open the console in game and utilize the broad customization it brings with it. To do this, when in matches, you need to press the ” ` ” key on your keyboard. This is usually an unused key and one that holds little value to most PC users, so if you don’t know where it is, the picture below shows where it’s located on my Corsair K63 keyboard, which is the same across most keyboards.
